Every athlete plays and trains every day in pursuit of the Olympic dream. It’s with passion, dedication and sacrifice that Mississauga’s Katie Vincent realized her dream of qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics and will be proudly representing Canada in what will not only be her first Olympics, but also the historic debut for Women’s Canoe.
Born and raised on the Land of the Mississaugas of the Credit, Katie's journey in the sport started in 2006 as a member of the Mississauga Canoe Club. In 2012, she decided that she wanted to pursue an athletic career in Sprint Canoe and at the age 21, she won her first Senior World title in the C2 500m with Laurence Vincent-Lapointe. On her 25th birthday this past March, she qualified for her first Olympic team!!
BRMCCo is proud to support Katie on her journey to Tokyo. Profits from these items will be going directly to Katie, to help fund some of her travel expenses and equipment expenses.
